Dune by Frank Herbert
Total Reading Time: 7.5 hours
Review: At first, Herbert’s universe felt incredibly foreign as I was immediately immersed in a distinctly different world. (I made good use of the glossary at the back of the book.) However, as I became acquainted with its unique ecology, culture and religion, Arrakis came to feel very real. And for a book written in 1965, it holds up remarkably well 47 years later.
