An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
Review: I like John Green’s characters. I like that they are smart, flawed and real. The protagonist of this story, Colin Singleton, is self-absorbed and intellectually superior and yet I care about him. It’s a testament to Green’s writing skills and storytelling. I also like the slightly silly premise of this novel. At the beginning of the story, Colin has just been dumped by his 19th girlfriend named Katherine. It’s a little ridiculous and yet creative and interesting.
