I Wear the Black Hat: Grappling with Villains (Real and Imagined) by Chuck Klosterman
Review: I really wanted this one to be good. The premise of examining cultural notions of villainy interested me to no end. However, once I got into the meat of this book, I was disappointed. The overly high brow language felt fake and Mr. Klosterman’s observations were less about what makes someone a villain in the eyes of society and more about his wanting to be a villain apologist. In the end, it was just boring.
