I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai & Christina Lamb

Review: Well, all I can say is that reading Malala Yousafzai’s story in her own words reinforced for me that she is an extraordinary young woman. It always takes courage to stand up for what’s right as opposed to what’s safe or popular but Malala did so even in the face of death threats. She fights for the right to an education for all children and for peace in her beloved Pakistan. Even after being shot and almost dying, Malala still has so much hope and optimism that it is infectious.
