Book Review – Talking as Fast as I Can

Talking as Fast as I Can book coverTalking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham

If this book is even a modicum of what it’s like inside Lauren Graham’s mind, I want to live there. Charming, fast-paced, interesting, crazy, funny, smart, and honest. I would recommend Lauren Graham’s memoir to fans of Gilmore Girls, fans of Parenthood, and fans of fun.

  1. What is it like? Is it written as an interview, or is she telling the reader all about her experiences working on Gilmore Girls? Or does she speak more broadly about her earlier life experiences? I don’t really like reading personal things about people, but I would be interested to hear more about Gilmore Girls 🙂

    1. The book is written in the form of stories. She does speak about earlier life experiences. Two of the chapters including a long one at the end are devoted to Gilmore Girls. The last chapter is a journal that she kept during the filming of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
