Book Review – The Fangirl’s Guide to the Galaxy

The Fangirl's Guide to the Galaxy book coverThe Fangirl’s Guide to the Galaxy: a handbook for Girl Geeks by Sam Maggs

Calling all fangirls! Whatever your fandom, this is a book for you. Stand up! Be proud! And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Sam Maggs has written an awesome guide filled with tips and tricks to be your best fangirl. It has a glossary of words, tips for cosplay and strategies for surviving a convention. But more than that The Fangirl’s Guide to the Galaxy is a positive message to anyone who is passionate about something “geeky” to just be your best self without shame. I really enjoyed this book and not just because I’m a fangirl. It was witty, profound and empowering. Seriously, go read it!
